Live Beautifully: Breakfast Breads and Candy Canes

Hi everyone! It has certainly been a while since my last Live Beautifully review, so I figured it was just about time for one. Luckily, I have some new Live Beautifully balms to share with you all and I think they're perfect for this season!

Company: Live Beautifully

Flavors: Blueberry Muffin, Banana Nut Bread, Cinnamon Raisin Toast, Peppermint Candy Cane, Tutti Frutti Candy Cane, Orange Mint Candy Cane, and Snickerdoodle lip jelly. The Blueberry Muffin smells exactly like a fresh baked blueberry muffin. You can definitely smell fresh blueberries! Makes me wish I had more blueberries to make some blueberry muffins! (I used them up to make blueberry pancakes yesterday, yum!). The Banana Nut Bread really surprised me! Banana nut bread is probably one of my most favorite things and I was skeptical that this balm would smell like it, but it does! It has the most amazing fresh baked banana nut bread scent. I love the scent of baked ripe bananas combined with walnut and moist bread. Absolutely wonderful! The Cinnamon Raisin Toast smells like buttery bread topped with a ton of cinnamon. Probably one of my favorite breakfasts. I've noticed that breakfast foods are some of my favorite things, they're just so delicious! The Peppermint Candy Cane smells of cool, tingly peppermint and a little bit of vanilla. I love a good peppermint balm, and this is definitely a great one! I think this whole Candy Cane Anthology would have made a great Christmas gift (or a late one)! I was hoping that the Tutti Frutti Candy Cane would smell like my favorite Jelly Belly jelly beans, Tutti Frutti because that would just be awesome. While this balm isn't quite like that, it is a really lovely fruity and minty scent. It definitely smells like a blend of cherry, lime and peppermint; kind of like cherry limeade combined with cooling peppermint! Super unique and interesting flavor combination. The Orange Mint Candy Cane smells absolutely incredible! It almost smells like an orange creamsicle combined with peppermint. The orange scent is just so amazing, I almost wish I had a Live Beautifully balm that was just orange. It is only made better by the scent of mint, if you're a citrus fan, you need this balm in your life! The Snickerdoodle lip jelly smells deliciously of batter and vanilla and spicy cinnamon. It seriously smells like a delicious cookie. I've never had a snickerdoodle before, but if this is anything like it, I want to try one!

Wear: These balms glide on nice and easy, making my lips feel nice and smooth. These balms are more oily than creamy, they go on a little more slick than other balms, but not in a way that makes you feel really greasy. The mint balms have a light tingling sensation, so for those of you who don't like the super tingly mint balms, these may be ones you want to try! The lip jelly goes on with your finger since it comes in a pot and you only need a tiny bit of product to properly coat your lips. If you've used petroleum jelly, you know how to use this stuff. But to me, it's not as goopy as petroleum jelly which I actually like. I also like to use the lip jelly on my cuticles!

Packaging: These balms come in your average sized lip balm tubes that each have labels designed to correspond to the flavor of each balm. The Candy Cane ones are especially festive looking. The fonts and overall design of these labels are just phenomenal, you can really tell a lot of care went into making them. It's really beautiful packaging. I also appreciate that underneath the flavor of the balm there is a description of what flavors go into the balm. The lip jelly comes in a lip balm pot that has label that has a lovely "old fashioned" look to it. The flavor of the jelly is printed right on top which makes it super easy to tell your lip jellies apart!

Price: Each anthology is $10 and each individual balm is $4. Both of these prices are extremely reasonable, especially since one anthology has 3 balms. The lip jelly is $5 per pot, but you get .5oz compared to the .15oz you get in an average tube of lip balm, so that's a pretty good deal! Right now there is a holiday sale until December 26th where you can save 15% off everything!

Rating: 5 out of 5 twists. Seriously, these balms are bomb (I am surprised I've never said that before). I really love these balms and would recommend them to anyone who is a fan of breakfast and/or candy canes!

Live Beautifully Whipped Lip Butters Part II

It's been a while since my last Live Beautifully Whipped Lip Butter review, so I thought it was about time I posted one! What I love most about Live Beautifully is that they have such a wide variety of lip products to choose from (lip balms, lip balm pots, lip jellies, and whipped lip butters) and that each lip product line has some pretty amazing and really unique scents.

Company: Live Beautifully

Flavors: Pineapple & Vanilla and Butterscotch & Vanilla. The Pineapple & Vanilla has a light pineapple scent combined with the creamy scent of vanilla. The Butterscotch & Vanilla has a rich butterscotch scent combined with creamy vanilla, it's really wonderful!

Wear: These have such a lovely consistency to them! They're whipped and creamy and go on just beautifully. They make my lips feel soft and protected. They go on wonderfully!

Packaging: These whipped lip butters come in little pots with screw top lids. I love the way Aaron and Nicole designed their labels, they're just so simple and polished looking. Each pot has a different colored label according to the flavor of the balm.

Price: $6 per pot which is kind of steep for me (since my upper limit on most products is $4), but you do get twice as much product so it's worth it.

Rating: 5 out of 5 twists. These Whipped Lip Butters were pretty wonderful, although I do have to admit, my Lime & Vanilla Whipped Lip Butter is still my absolute favorite!

Live Beautifully Lip Jellies!

I know a bunch of you have been waiting for this review for a while now, and I'm here to deliver! If you don't know, Live Beautifully came out with a new product recently, all natural lip jellies! I love all my Live Beautifully products, and was eager to try this one. Nicole and Aaron were so kind and generous to send me three of their new lip jellies to try!

Company: Live Beautifully

Flavors: Pistachio Ice Cream, Black Pepper Cheese, and Lavender Lemoncake. The Pistachio Ice Cream has a rich, nutty scent. It smells so rich and creamy, it's not as sweet as other pistachio balms I've used, but it works! I'm a huge cheese lover and when I saw that there was actually a cheese flavor, I had to try it! The Black Pepper Cheese is seriously probably the most unique lip flavor I've ever had. It has a light cheese scent with a little kick from the black pepper.It's so interesting! When on my lips, you can really tell there's black pepper in there! Nicole and Aaron also sent me a pot of the Lavender Lemoncake to try, and you know I normally wouldn't try a flavor like that on my own because I'm not a fan of floral balms, but I'm really glad they did! The lemoncake part of the combination is super strong and so lovely. It's definitely the prominent scent and you know I love anything with sweet lemon in it! When on my lips there's a slight lavender scent which actually doesn't bother me! I really like this flavor combination! There are so many more of their flavors I want to try! They've got something for every taste, I swear!

Wear: These lip jellies are applied with your finger, so how much goes on is up to you, but from my experience I don't need to go over more than once or twice to get great coverage. These feel a little greasier than what I'm used to, but it's because it's a jelly and definitely not going to have the same consistency as a balm or one of their whipped lip butters. But it really sinks into my lips and makes them so smooth. I really love the way these feel on my lips!

Packaging: These come in little pots, the same one as their whipped lip butters if you've used those before. You probably know by now that I absolutely adore the way all of Live Beautifully's packaging is designed and these are definitely no exception! These all have an old fashioned look to them and I absolutely adore them! Each label is so fittingly (is that a word?) designed to match each flavor, seriously I love these!

Price: $6 each which I know is usually out of my price range, but for these superior products and for how much product you get, I really think it's worth it!

Live Beautifully Whipped Lip Butters Part 1

You probably saw Live Beautifully in the title and immediately hoped it was going to be the new lip jellies, right? Sorry to trick you, but I really wanted to review some of the other lip butters I had received after my first Live Beautifully review. I promise though, those new jellies are going to be coming up soon!

Company: Live Beautifully

Flavors: Lemon & Vanilla, Cinnamon & Vanilla, and Cherry & Vanilla. The Lemon & Vanilla smells so lovely! It smells just like sweet lemon combined with a warm vanilla that really mellows out the whole scent. I really love it! I ordered the Cinnamon & Vanilla because at the time I was super obsessed with this Cinnamon Frosting candle from Bath and Body Works and I really wanted a similar version to smear on my lips. This butter smells just like dessert! Or, it also kind of reminds me of breakfast! It smells like warm and spicy cinnamon with a rich, warm vanilla. Oh, I got it! It smells like cinnamon rolls! Yes! There you go, it smells incredible. The Cherry & Vanilla also smells amazing! It reminds me of my favorite yogurt. I love cherry yogurt and this reminds of me it. It's a refreshing sweet cherry scent, like maraschino cherries, mixed with the same warm vanilla that all the whipped lip butters are combined with. It really smells lovely. I love each one of these butters!

Wear: These go on beautifully! They're light and fluffy and go on so smooth, I really like how silky they make my lips feel. Also, with these whipped butters, a little goes a long way.

Packaging: These come in little pots with screw top lids. The lids have labels on them that are colored differently to reflect the different flavors of the butters. I really love the way these labels and everything in the shop (from shipping to actual product labels, everything is seriously adorable and amazing) are designed. It's sophisticated, yet a little rustic, in my opinion and it really just makes me love Live Beautifully products more.

Price: $6 per pot, which I know is a little steep and you know I usually wouldn't pay that much for a lip balm, but these whipped lip butters are seriously amazing.
