Passionfruit Ads decided to make their accounts paid accounts to sell ads and with that decision came a whole slew of new ad options. I decided to take the plunge and upgrade my account since Passionfruit is so easy to use! I actually added some of the new options at the end of July and wrote about it on Facebook, but I realize I should have really done a formal post. But, with the crazy studying I had been doing, I just forgot about it. I figured someone would see them whenever they saw them. Then I realized some of my new options are pretty cool and with Black Friday and the Holidays coming up, they may be super awesome to get some awesome exposure!
Lisa from ForGoodnessGrape was the first person to utilize one of my new options, an In Post Ad that shows up at the bottom of each of my posts for 1 week! The banner is also pretty huge at 600x165. It took us about 4 hours to get it all straightened out, but we finally figured it out as I had never had an In Post Ad before. Now that we know it works, the process for others to post up an In Post Ad will be much easier and quicker! I'm still using Passionfruit Ads so if you've sponsored me before, you know how easy it is to use! You can see an example of what the In Post Ad looks like below.
In addition to the In Post Ad, there's a new Sponsored Post. This is if you have something specific you want to get out there, like a sale or new promotion or new items in your shop. You would write this up in the way you want and I would post it for you. This would be a good way to just get your message out there. You can also embed an image in your post if that's what you'd like to do.
Another new option is a Social Media Mention. For this option you'd tell me exactly what you want to be shared, and I would share it on my Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. I will continue to do re-tweets and my own messages on Facebook, Twtitter, and Instagram, but this option will basically be an outlet for you to utilize my social media accounts.
I'm still offering XL, Large, and Small spots and I might bring a few new ad options in the future, but will make sure to do a formal post on them when I do.
