Wrangler's Monthly Wrap Up: September 2013

Hi everyone! I can't believe how fast Summer went by, or how fast this whole year has been going, I mean seriously, is it going to be October already? Where did September go? Before you know it, we'll be ringing in the new year! It's been a while since my last monthly wrap up, so I hope you're ready for my wrap ups to return! Here are some of my favorite parts from this last month:

What were some of your favorite parts of September? Are you enjoying Fall so far?
Have a wonderful day!

Balms of the Week 9.29.13

Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope you're having a lovely day today! We're supposed to get rain here today, so we'll probably be inside most of the day. I hope it's beautiful where you are! My balms haven't been switching up too much lately because, well, I haven't been buying crazy tons of balms like usual and the balms I have ordered, haven't come in yet. I don't really mind my routine staying the same right now because I really love the balms I've been using!
Balm Chicky's Huge Cucumber

ForGoodnessGrape's Baby Moose Tracks, Baby Moose Smooches, Banana Moose Pie

e.o.s.'s Blueberry Acai

Maybelline's Dr. Rescue (all of them)

Moody Sisters' Strawberry Lemonade

Balms I've Got My Eye On 9.27.13

Happy Friday, everyone! I hope you've been having a great week and that you have an even better weekend planned! I've been doing a lot more browsing lately which is usually dangerous for me since my "browsing" usually turns into "buying everything I want and suffering for it later". Lately I've been really into perfume oils, lotions, and other handmade bath and body goodies in addition to lip balm so I may have more things to share with you occasionally other than lip balm. Anyway, here are the balms I've been contemplating this week:

ForGoodnessGrape's Coconut Rum
(via)

The Gnarly Whale's Peanut Butter Cup
Peanut Butter Cup Lip Balm - Vegan .15 oz
(via)

Cherry Cream Lip Balm - Lip Butter - Colorfree
(via)

What balms have you had your eye on lately? If not balms, what other handmade bath and body items have you had your eye on?
Have a great day!

Epically Epic Part XIII

Is this really my 13th Epically Epic review? Holy cow! And you know I'm not even done yet, I've got a few more Epically Epic balms to go! You also know that I'm always looking out for when Allison comes out with new flavors, so I think my Epically Epic collection will continue to grow which means more Epically Epic reviews will be written. I hope you guys enjoy =).

Company: Epically Epic

Flavors: Cranberry Lemonade, Chocolate Blueberry, Banana Chocolate Peanut Butter, Pineapple Lime, Cranberry Lime, Toasted Coconut S'more, and Candy Cane. The Cranberry Lemonade smells of tart cranberries combined with sweet lemonade, a very yummy and interesting take on a lemonade balm. The Chocolate Blueberry smells decadent and rich, it smells of rich chocolate over ripe, sweet blueberries. It's just lovely! The Banana Chocolate Peanut Butter smells exactly like I was hoping it would! Sweet, ripe bananas combined with rich chocolate and sweet and salty peanut butter. It smells just like one of my favorite snacks! The Pineapple Lime smells of sweet, tropical pineapple combined with tangy, sour limes. This one is fruity and delicious! The Cranberry Lime smells of tart cranberries and sweet, tangy, and sour limes. This one has a lighter scent, so if you're not into strong scents, this one is for you! The Toasted Coconut S'more smells seriously amazing! It smells of toasted tropical coconut (which by itself already smells amazing) combined with chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker. Seriously, the next time I make s'mores, I'm putting some coconut on it. The Candy Cane is so minty and tingly and just all around perfect. It's one of my favorite balms from EE ever.

Wear: These balms go on SMOOTH, seriously, they melt right onto your lips which makes application a breeze. These are a little more on the oily side, but they're still creamy and wonderful. They really make my lips feel wonderful! The consistency of Epically Epic balms is definitely one of my favorites.

Packaging: These come in your average lip balm tubes with really cute labels! Each label has colors that reflect the flavor of the balm, but they each also have a design on them pertaining to each balm. For example, the candy cane one is striped red and white, some of them have polka dots, some have images of the fruit in the background. They're all pretty cute!

Price: $3.75 per tube which is a steal!

Overall
Pros: Flavors, Wear, Packaging, Price
Cons:

Rating: 5 out of 5 twists. If you don't know by now how much I love Epicaly Epic balms, go and read a few more of my Epically Epic reviews and maybe you'll see. They're wonderful and some of my favorites of all time. If you haven't tried them yet, get to it!

Ingredients: Pistachio Butter, Jojoba, Sweet Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Vitamin E, Candelilla Wax, Flavor, Natural Sweetener

Have you tried Epically Epic balms yet? What did you think?

Haul of the Week 9.25.13

Hi all! I hope you're having a wonderful week so far! This week I'm eagerly waiting a bunch of packages, mostly early birthday presents, so all week I've been checking and rechecking tracking. Does anyone else do that? My haul this week is super small, but the balms are super awesome, so I hope you enjoy!

I'm sorry this is such a bad picture, I was studying all day yesterday (yes, this post wasn't written way in advance like some others) and completely forgot to take a good picture. But, you get the idea right? I got 3 balms and 2 perfume oils from Ripe Shop. I really wish the 24 Carrot had worked with my body chemistry, it smelled so good out of the bottle!

What balms did you receive this week? I hope your haul was bigger than mine was!
Happy Wednesday!

Aqua Blossom Part IX

Who's ready for an Aqua Blossom review? It's been a little while since my last one, and I'm a little backed up on Aqua Blossom (I have about 3 more hauls worth of Aqua Blossom balms waiting to be reviewed), so it's about time for another one! Enjoy!

Company: Aqua Blossom

Flavors: Butter Toffee Crunch, Pistachio Ice Cream, Cherry Almond, and Orange Cream. The Butter Toffee Crunch is definitely a scent I've never tried before. It smells of rich and buttery toffee, it smells SO amazing. This one would be great for Fall! The Pistachio Ice Cream smells of sweet and nutty pistachio blended with sweet cream. One of these days I'm going to have to try pistachio ice cream for real! The Cherry Almond smells exactly like you think it would, sweet, ripe cherries combined with sweet, nutty almond; yum! The Orange Cream has an orange scent that's different from other orange scents. It's more of a mellow, muted orange scent instead of a bright and tangy orange scent. I think that orange scent is what makes the balm interesting and when combined with creamy vanilla, it's wonderful.

Wear: These balms go on super smooth, they just glide right on. They coat your lips in just the right amount of balm, you only need one or two swipes on top and bottom.

Packaging: These come in oval tubes with labels that have colored sections to reflect the flavor of the balm. Each colored section has it's own design as well. These balms always look simple and clean, very lovely!

Price: $3.75 per tube which is a heck of a deal for one of these!

Overall
Pros: Flavors, Wear, Packaging, Price
Cons:

Rating: 5 out of 5 twists. Aqua Blossom balms are some of my absolute favorite balms and if you haven't tried any yet, you're missing out! Ashley is always adding new flavors, so you have a ton of options to choose from!

Ingredients: shea butter, sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil, avocado oil, candelilla wax, coconut oil, kokum butter, soybean oil, essential and/or lip-safe fragrance (flavor) oil, vitamin e oil

Which Aqua Blossom balms are your favorite?

Mini Monday 9.23.13

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope your day is off to a great start! If it's not, I hope that this post helps distract you from whatever is deterring your day from starting off well =).

Long Winter Farm's Maple Almond
This one smells of rich maple and sweet and nutty almond, it's a strong delicious scent that's perfect for fall!

Aqua Blossom's Coconut Cream
This smells like creamy, warm, tropical coconut. It's like a dessert for your lips!

Orange Thyme's Apricot Plum
This balm has a light, sweet and fruity scent. Both apricot and plum are typically lightly scented, and when combined they're just wonderful!

Have a wonderful day!

Country Blossom Balm of the Month: August 2013

I know, I know, it's not August anymore, but can you seriously believe we're almost at the end of September already? Where the heck did all the time go? I hope you're ready for this installment of my lip balm of the month from Country Blossom, there are only I think one or two left since Rob bought this for me for my birthday last year (my birthday is next month). Anyway, let's enjoy these last few lip balm of the month posts, shall we?

Company: Country Blossom

Flavor: Pineapple Tangerine. This balm smells of bright, tropical pineapple combined with sweet tangerines. This is definitely a delightfully fruity balm.

Wear: This balm, like all Country Blossom balms, goes on smooth and creamy. It glides right on your lips with a wonderful consistency. My lips are left feeling glossy and soft.

Packaging: This comes in your usual lip balm tube with a white label that has the shop's name in a bright yellow sunflower. Beneath the sunflower is the flavor of the balm followed by a little graphic of what the flavor of the balm is.

Price: $3 per balm which is a total steal for one of these!

Overall
Pros: Flavors, Wear, Packaging, Price
Cons:

Rating: 5 out of 5 twists. If you haven't tried Country Blossom balms yet, you should!

Ingredients: Beeswax, Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Flavoring Oil

Have you tried Country Blossom balms yet? Which one is your favorite?

Suzy's Scent Shop Part II

This week seems to be all about Part II's on shops I've previously tried, I didn't plan it that way, I swear! I don't know if you remember, but about a month or so ago, Suzy from Suzy's Scent Shop was kind enough to send me some lip balms to cheer me up after my dog passed away. She is seriously such a sweet gal and so thoughtful! I thought I might share with you the balms that she was so kind to send me.

Company: Suzy's Scent Shop

Flavors: Huckleberry Heaven, Buttercream, Prickly Pear, Summer Picnic, Bubble Gum, and Almond. The Huckleberry Heaven smells of rich, ripe huckleberries, the scent is so deep and intoxicating, I kind of just want to inhale the scent all day (in case you're confused, it smells amazing). The Buttercream smells of luscious, rich buttercream frosting. It's serious yummy scent. The Prickly Pear was one I had been swooning over for a while, and it did not disappoint! It's so hard to describe what prickly pear smells like unless you've had it before or used a prickly pear lip balm before. It smells of pear, but a sweeter, more candy-like pear. It smells SO good. As I said on Monday, the Summer Picnic is a perfect blend of blueberries and juicy watermelon. This combination smells exactly how you think a summer picnic should smell. The Bubblegum smells just like the sugary, pink candy. It really makes me wish I had a pack of Hubba Bubba or that pink Bubble Tape that my sisters and I used to devour when we were younger. The Almond smells just like almonds, sweet and nutty and pretty intoxicating. It's strong without being overbearing, I've found that most of my almond balms are pretty strong in scent.

Wear: These balms go on nice and smooth. They really do just glide right on. They're creamy without being too soft and they go on smooth without being too oily. Two swipes on top and two on bottom and you've got great coverage. These feel like they go on a little thinner than other balms, but without losing any of the protection you love. Does that make sense?

Packaging: These come in oval tubes, each with it's own artfully designed label. Each label has a different background, but the placement of the name of the balm and the shop's name and ingredients is the same. These balms are bright and cheery and fun to look at, they were exactly what I needed to see after all the chaos of July.

Price: $3.75 per tube which is a heck of a deal!

Overall
Pros: Flavors, Wear, Packaging, Price, Suzy
Cons:

Rating: 5 out of 5 twists. These balms are pretty wonderful and Suzy's shop is pretty new, so if you haven't heard of her balms, maybe you should go on over and check them out.

Ingredients: Kokum Butter, Candelilla Wax, Avocado Butter, Avocado Oil, Apricot Kernal Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Flavoring

Have you checked out Suzy's balms before? What did you think of them?

Updates on Sponsoring Options!

Hi there! I know this doesn't pertain to a lot of you, but I figured it was about time I wrote up a formal post on the new changes I've made to my Ad shop for sponsors.

Passionfruit Ads decided to make their accounts paid accounts to sell ads and with that decision came a whole slew of new ad options. I decided to take the plunge and upgrade my account since Passionfruit is so easy to use! I actually added some of the new options at the end of July and wrote about it on Facebook, but I realize I should have really done a formal post. But, with the crazy studying I had been doing, I just forgot about it. I figured someone would see them whenever they saw them. Then I realized some of my new options are pretty cool and with Black Friday and the Holidays coming up, they may be super awesome to get some awesome exposure!

Lisa from ForGoodnessGrape was the first person to utilize one of my new options, an In Post Ad that shows up at the bottom of each of my posts for 1 week! The banner is also pretty huge at 600x165. It took us about 4 hours to get it all straightened out, but we finally figured it out as I had never had an In Post Ad before. Now that we know it works, the process for others to post up an In Post Ad will be much easier and quicker! I'm still using Passionfruit Ads so if you've sponsored me before, you know how easy it is to use! You can see an example of what the In Post Ad looks like below.

In addition to the In Post Ad, there's a new Sponsored Post. This is if you have something specific you want to get out there, like a sale or new promotion or new items in your shop. You would write this up in the way you want and I would post it for you. This would be a good way to just get your message out there. You can also embed an image in your post if that's what you'd like to do.

Another new option is a Social Media Mention. For this option you'd tell me exactly what you want to be shared, and I would share it on my Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. I will continue to do re-tweets and my own messages on Facebook, Twtitter, and Instagram, but this option will basically be an outlet for you to utilize my social media accounts.

I'm still offering XL, Large, and Small spots and I might bring a few new ad options in the future, but will make sure to do a formal post on them when I do.

I'd like to offer everyone 20% off to try out these new ad options or even the old ad options if you've never tried them before. Please use code: TimeToUpgrade for 20% off!

I hope you'll enjoy these new features and of course, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at lipbalmwrangler AT gmail DOT com.

Thank you for considering sponsoring Lip Balm Wrangler!

Have a great day!

Haul of the Week 9.18.13

Happy Wednesday, everyone! I hope your week has been progressing smoothly. I've been a little delayed on posting my hauls lately because of the MCAT, so this week's haul has a couple of things from the last two weeks. It feels so good to be getting back on track and getting back to you guys. I hope you enjoy this week's haul:
Finally found the new e.o.s. sphere at Target!

I told you I had a feeling I'd be getting my hands on the rest of the Limited Edition Electro collection.
Did you know that this line of limited edition Baby Lips existed? I had no idea they had a line of medicated Baby Lips, they're pretty darn awesome!

The next installment of my Long Winter Farm seasonal lip balm subscription is here! Perfect for Fall!

The Body Shop's Born Lippy Stick in Lychee

(via)
I'm sorry this picture isn't one of my own, I somehow managed to misplace this tube 2 days after I bought it. This will be the first lip balm I've lost (if it's really lost) in a long time. The last time I lost one was probably way before I even started this blog.

They had a sale last week for 35% off but for only one day! The day happened to be the day I took the MCAT, so to treat myself after I bought these 2 lip balms, their daily toner, their make up remover, and some eye cream.

I know you'd expect my haul to be bigger, but I've been so busy lately! I've also been working on not buying crazy amounts of balm every week and I think it's working.

What balms did you get this week? Anything new that totally blew your mind?
Have a wonderful day!

Firebird Bath & Body Part II

Hi all! Happy Tuesday! It's certainly been a long while since my first Firebird Bath & Body review. Did you know that Firebird Bath & Body was the very first shop I ever bought from on Etsy? Followed by Long Winter Farm, Orange Thyme, and Lemon Citrus (this shop is no longer around which is sad =(). Anyway, I'm not sure why it took me so long to get my hands on some more balms from Firebird, probably because I was looking for a sale which just happened to be why I was able to stock up on some of these (and some of her perfume oils). Enjoy!

Company: Firebird Bath & Body

Flavors: Coconut Lemongrass, Ginger Peach, Strawberry Tangerine, Cherry Limeade, Wineberry, and Black Plum. The Coconut Lemongrass smells amazing, tropical coconut combined with herbal-y lemongrass, I don't think herbal-y is the right word. I just can't describe it! This always smells like candy to me, but this particular version isn't as sweet as most others I've used. The Ginger Peach is one of my favorites! I mean seriously, how can you go wrong with ripe, sweet peaches and warm ginger? You can't! The Strawberry Tangerine is another one of my favorites (okay, so maybe they're all my favorites?). This one smells of ripe, juicy strawberries and bright, slightly sour tangerine. This one is mellow and fruity and just lovely. The Cherry Limeadeas I mentioned yesterday, smells of sweet, delicious cherries and tangy, slightly sour lime. The Wineberry is something I've never had before. It smells of deep, intoxicating berries; like super rich and decadent with a little bit of sweetness. The Black Plum is probably the most lightly scented of the bunch, it smells of plums, but it's not crazy sweet or overpowering.

Wear: These balms glide on SUPER smooth. They're not as creamy or oily as some other balms I usually use, they have a different type of consistency all together. They kind of feel a little stickier than my usual balms, but at the same time, you can't really call it sticky. They make my lips super soft and provide a nice shield of protection for my lips. Maybe they just go on a little thicker than my other balms. I don't know, whatever the case may be, the consistency of these balms rocks!

Packaging: These come in your average sized lip balm tubes, each with a label colored to coordinate with the flavor of the balm. The shop's name is clearly printed on front with the flavor of the balm right beneath it. These labels are the waxy kind which I love because I don't have to worry about them getting scratched or torn like my other ones (I usually have to be very diligent about ripping off the shrink wrap on my balms, I ripe them so that only the part covering the cap comes off and the part covering the twisty comes off. That way the label is protected.). I love the simplicity in how these labels were designed.

Price: $3.50 per tube which is a heck of a deal! At that price point it's easy to try at least two or three balms.

Overall
Pros: Flavors, Wear, Packaging, Price
Cons:

Rating: 5 out of 5 twists. Even though it's been a REALLY long time (like a year and a half) since the last time I tried these balms, they really didn't disappoint. They were just as good as I remembered. I'd definitely recommend trying one, two, or a few if you're curious!

Ingredients:apricot (prunus armeniaca) kernel oil, caprylic/capric/stearic glycerides, beeswax, cocoa (theobroma cacao) butter, castor (ricinus communis) oil, candelilla (euphorbia cerifera) wax, shea (butyrospermum parkii) butter, jojoba (simmondsia chinensis) oil, flavor, color

Have you tried Firebird Bath & Body balms before? What did you think of them?

Mini Monday 9.16.13

What is this? A real Mini Monday has come back to the blog? Yes, things are starting to get back to normal around here! I hope you're ready for a regular week of posting! I want to thank you all again for your patience with me with everything that's been happening with me this summer. On to the post!

Firebird Bath & Body's Cherry Limeade
This smells of sweet ripe cherries combined with refreshing, tangy, and slightly sour lime. It smells wonderful!

Orange Thyme's Clementine
This one smells of sweet, juicy clementines with an added scent of bright, citrus-y grapefruit. It's light and sweet and just perfect.

Suzy's Scent Shop's Summer Picnic
This one is so unique, it actually smells like what I think a picnic should smell like. A delicious blueberry scent is the main component that's mixed with mouthwatering watermelon. This one is wonderful! I love blueberries and watermelon, but I've never thought to combine the two. Yum!

I hope you enjoyed this week's Mini Monday!
Have a wonderful day!

Balms of the Week 9.15.13

Hi all! Sorry this is a tad bit late today, Rob and I went out last night to let loose a little bit and kind of celebrate the end of my MCAT craziness. Needless to say I completely forgot to make up a post during the day yesterday, so here I am! This week I've been using mostly my usual balms which have now become some of my favorite balms of all time:

I seriously cannot stop using their Huge Cucumber! It makes my lips feel amazing and it smells incredible. Definitely my go-to this week!

ForGoodnessGrape's Baby Moose Smooches, Baby Moose Tracks, and Banana Moose Pie
I can't stop using these three! Every day I have to use them at least a million times, I'm so addicted to the consistency and how soft they make my lips! I'm about halfway through each tube, so I'll have to get more soon! If you haven't tried them already, get to it!

That's pretty much just about it for this week's balms. I didn't have much chance to switch things up because I was hardcore studying and just focused on that, but this week will probably bring a few new balms into the line up.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Balms I've Got My Eye On 9.13.13

Oh my! What is this? A post? For real?! Yes, I'm starting to transition back from hardcore MCAT mode to my normal life so posts will be appearing again! Thank you all for being so patient with me, I really appreciate it! I will be getting back to comments and e-mails as soon as I can, but first I definitely need some wind down time before I kick things into gear. I kind of want to reward myself for all the hard work I've been doing, so...how do these balms sound to you guys?

Honey Fig Lip Balm
(via)
Well first off, have you seen Amanda's new site? It's pretty rad if I do say so myself, and second, have you seen this balm? It sounds so lovely!

Ripe Shop's Peanut Butter S'more

Um...yum! This balm sounds amazing! Also, have you seen the new labels? Those are pretty awesome.

Aqua Blossom's Orange Cinnamon Roll

Yeah...this balm sounds like one I definitely need to get into my possession soon. It sounds scrumptious!

What balms have you been drooling over eyeing this week? For some reason I've been super into perfume oils lately (maybe because they're super awesome and make me smell good), so I definitely have my eye on some of those as well!

Hope you're having a lovely day!

Balm Chicky Balm Balm

Hi all! A few weeks ago, Liz over at Balm Chicky Balm Balm contacted me to see if I'd be interested in trying some of her balms. When Liz told me that her brand was "a 70's inspired lifestyle brand that will leave your lips totally satisfied", I was super intrigued so of course, I said yes and I'm so glad I did! These balms are super unique and fun in a kinda sexy kind of way (yeah, that's how I'm describing them!). These balms are probably more playful than what you're used to...well...you'll see what I mean.

Company: Balm Chicky Balm Balm

Flavors: Hot Chocolate Love, Juicy Melons, and Huge Cucumber. Yes, read those again. I told you, more playful than what you're used to! Don't let that throw you off though, these balms are amazing. The Hot Chocolate Love smells of super rich milk chocolate, chocolate lovers, you'll probably want to pick yourself up one of these. The Juicy Melons smells of sweet cantaloupe, it's not an overpowering scent which is super nice. Just a light, sweet, ripe melon scent, yum! My absolute favorite though has got to be the Huge Cucumber. It smells of tingly spearmint and lightly of of cucumber. Your lips will definitely feel cool as a cucumber with this balm on them! This is definitely one for you if you like mint! They also carry two other flavors, Sweet Baby Ginger and Wild Mountain Honey.

Wear: These balms go on beautifully! They glide on easily and aren't too greasy, oily, or too creamy. They go on smooth and a little goes a long way. Honestly these balms have a wonderful consistency that isn't too thick or too thin, but one or two swipes and you've got yourself some great lip protection. My lips feel so soft and moisturized after wearing one of these balms.

Packaging: Okay this is where some really cool stuff happens. Balm Chicky Balm Balm has a specially designed tube with their patented Friend End. First off, let me tell you that these tubes are HUGE, they contain about three times more balm than your average lip balm tube. Then comes the Friend End. On the opposite side of where you put on your balm, there's a tiny pot of balm with a flip cap! This end is perfect for when a friend wants to use your balm, but you don't really want to share mouth germs (yeah, I actually use the term "mouth germs" a lot in every day life, I wish I was kidding, but I'm a bit of a germaphobe). Being the germaphobe that I am, I loved the idea of a Friend End! I'd just make my friends wash their hands or use antibacterial before I let them stick their fingers in the pot, but still a great idea for people who aren't huge germaphobes like me. The packaging and the flavors are just so unique!

Price: These balms are a bit pricier than what you'd pay for one tube of balm, but you have to remember you're paying for about 3 tubes of balm when you buy one of these! These tubes are usually $12 each, but Liz was generous enough to offer my readers a special discount! You can use code "wrangler" to get each tube for $6.69 which is almost 50% off!

Overall
Pros: Flavors, Wear, Packaging, Price
Cons:

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 twists. These balms are super unique and really fun. I'm SO glad to have these balms as part of my collection. The balms are definitely different from your usual balms, but in a good way! I'd definitely recommend trying one of these balms! Oh, did I mention these balms are all natural and organic? Yeah, talk about a bonus!

Ingredients: Extra virgin olive oil, palm oil and hemp seed oil, beeswax, rosemary and vitamin E combine with the sweet scent of ripe melon

Have you ever heard of Balm Chicky Balm Balm before? Which balms are you most intrigued by?
----------------------------------
These balms were provided complimentary to me by Liz at Balm Chicky Balm Balm, however, all opinions are strictly my own. Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunity, Liz!

Ripe Shop Part VI

Hi all! I'm so sorry for my absence lately, but I've been cracking down on my MCAT studying and really trying to focus because it's next Wednesday. So for the next weekish, I'll probably still be pretty MIA. I can't wait for the exam to be over so I can finally just do nothing for a day or two before I start studying for the GRE (as a backup plan). I promise to get back to comments and e-mails after the MCAT is over. I've been studying 5-7 hours almost every day for the last two months, I need a break from everything after next Wednesday! Anyway, I wanted to make sure I still had a review for you guys to read today, so I hope you enjoy!

Company: Ripe Shop

Flavors: Tangerine Currant, Sweet Mango Tea, Honeyed Peach, and Banana Pudding. The Tangerine Currant smells super bright and a little tart. The citrus is a light, strong citrus scent, I know that sounds crazy, but the tangerine scent has a lighter citrus scent than orange but it's not a weak scent because you definitely smell it! It's fragrant and lovely. The Sweet Mango Tea is probably one of my favorite Ripe Shop balms (it also goes great with my Long Winter Farm Mango Tea perfume oil). It smells of delicious tropical mango and a little bit of citrus. I also kind of smells like there's some yogurt in it too, is that weird? I don't know, but it smells amazing! The Honeyed Peach smells strongly of honey and ripe peaches, this was stronger in honey than I prefer, but if you like honey, this is a balm you want to try! The Banana Pudding is another one of my favorites. It smells of a candy-like banana scent over an actual banana scent, but it smells sweet and yummy! It smells just like those banana Popsicles I'm always referring to.

Wear: These balms go on so beautifully, they melt right into my lips. They go on soft and creamy, but they're a little delicate when you first start off so go easy on pressing the balm against your lips! I usually end up with small chunks of balm in my mouth when I first use some of these tubes because I forget how delicate they are. Trust me, these balms don't taste as good as they smell!

Packaging: These balms come in oval tubes with black and white labels. The flavors of the balm are right on the front of the tube which makes it easy to tell the flavors apart.

Price: $4 a tube, $7 for 2, or $10.50 for 3 which is definitely worth it for these balms!
