LUSH's Chocolate Whipstick

I think it's about time that I review one of my staples, my LUSH lip balm tin. I honestly take this tin with me everywhere I go, just in case my lips feel extremely dry and need the extra moisture. I had always been curious about LUSH's lip balms, but have always been turned off by the price. But one day I went into the shop with my sister and some ladies had us try their lip scrub and some lip balm and I was totally sold. I didn't purchase the lip scrub, but I knew I had to try at least one of their balms!

Company: LUSH

Flavor: Chocolate Whipstick. This balm is incredible. It is a rich chocolate scent with a hint of orange, seriously wonderful. It's decadent and refreshing and just perfect for any season. If you're a chocolate lover, you'll definitely want to check this balm out.

Wear: Because this balm comes in a tin you can put on basically as much as you want. However because I try to avoid sticking my fingers in pots, I kind of just dip my lips into the pot and glide the balm on that way. I probably look so strange doing it that way, but I like it better than sticking germy fingers into my lip balm! This balm makes my lips incredibly smooth and goes on so creamy. This balm is really moisturizing and lasts a minimum of 3 to 4 hours which is amazing!

Packaging: This lip balm comes in a silver metal tin with a brown label on the lid that says 'WHIPSTICK' on it as well as the company name. It's pretty simple and to the point.

Price: $7.25, I think I purchased this before for $6.95 but I think the price has increased. This is quite a lot to spend on one balm and I would usually never do it, but it is also twice the weight of one tube of lip balm so it is kind of understandable. After trying it, I knew I wanted to have at least one in my collection.

Overall
Pros: Flavor, WEAR, Packaging
Cons: Price, More variety in flavors

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 twists, I seriously love this balm so much. It's always in my purse or my pocket and it's just wonderful. I love that it lasts for so long too, so I know my lips are super protected!

  1. I really want to try this! It's so expensive online though. I wish I had a store closer to me. Great review!

    1. I know, the only way I'll buy this is if I can get to the store again. This balm is really one of the most moisturizing and long lasting balms I've ever used!

  2. Have you tried any other lip products from Lush? I'm curious about their balm Honey Trap and what it smells like.
