Balms I've got my eye on 7.17.12

Here's what's tempting me this week:

(taken from here)
I've always wanted to try these balms but they're $4 a piece which is a little out of my price range, but they do have a TON of flavors. She has a sale going on right now, you can save 10-15% in her Etsy shop until the 22nd! There's no coupon needed!

Fable Naturals's Lemon Coconut
(taken from here)
I love lemon and coconut and would LOVE to try this balm but it's $6 a tube and $6 shipping since it's coming from Canada to the US. $12 for a tube of lip balm just won't cut it for me, unfortunately. I am really interested in these squeeze tubes!

Dress Green's New Flavor: Peach Lime
(taken from here)
Yet another Dress Green balm that is tempting me, I'm thinking I really need to purchase from here soon!

Epically Epic Soap Co.'s Bullfrog Cherry-Peach
(taken from here)
I love Epically Epic balms and I love that she flavors her lip tints as well. This one just sounds so crazy delicious, I'm mad I haven't purchased it before!

Have you tried any of these balms before? Or companies? I'd love to know what you think about them!

  1. Currently, I own 2 lip balms, 3 lip tints, 2 lip shimmers, 2 solid perfumes, and 1 lip scrub from For Goodness Grape (http://www.etsy.com/shop/ForGoodnessGrape). Everything I've tried, I've loved. I rotate my stash in my purse weekly, lol. I also just ordered another lip balm, lip scrub, and 2 roll on perfumes. I love Lisa, she's sweet and helpful and goes out of her way to make sure her customers are happy. And the quality of her lip balms are fantastic. Not greasy, not waxy, just the perfect consistency. I'm very picky with lip balms/glosses/etc, I too have been collecting since I was about 14. I'm a bit obsessed, haha. I calmed down a bit for the first year and a half after my son was born, but for the last few months I've been getting slowly more addicted again... and it's all thanks to Lisa and her luscious flavours! :)

    1. I hope to have the same experience you did with Lisa's products. It's so hard to decide which ones I want to try! What flavors are your favorite from her?

Thank you so much for sharing!

  2. Well so far, it's a toss up between the Wild Blueberry Sugary Lip Scrub, and the Lemon Cupcake Lip Candy! They're very complimentary to each other though, so sometimes I use the lip scrub just to get the blueberry taste (and lick off the sugar!) and then use the lemon right after! hehe. I have a few more that I've just ordered, I'll let you know how those ones are once I receive them too. :)

    1. Both of those sound awesome! What a genius idea to overlap the scrub with the balm! And please do let me know how your new ones turn out for you =).

    2. I'll definetly let you know! And I already know I love Dress Green but I look forward to your review on them anyway!

Also, this might sound like a dumb question, but how do I get a picture to post next to my name when I comment here?! It's making me crazy haha! Thanks. :)

    3. I'm not 100% sure on how to get a picture on there since I have a blogger account and edit the profile picture and such. Did you try looking around after you sign in with your Google/email account? Maybe under profile settings or something similar to that where you can edit a profile picture? If you're not signed in, that could also be why.

Let me know if you have any other trouble, sorry I wasn't more helpful!

This week I have been using balms from The Simple Siren shop found on Etsy. I love their lip balms and all natural lip scrubs. They have an awesome Sweet Lemonaid balm and Lemon Lime Scrub that I think you would like!

    1. The peach lime is my absolute favorite right now, I ended up buying it last week =). I think the Bullfrog Cherry will definitely be in my next order from Epically Epic.

Denise, you've always got such great recommendations for me! And you always know what I'll like, which is great and also terrible because then I always run out and buy your recommendations! Haha.

I will definitely look into The Simple Siren's balms, thank you!

  5. I must confess I am a lip balm addict myself! I like to share recommendations of balms that I have tried and enjoy with others! I am so glad that you have liked the suggestions that I have made.

As for For Goodness Grape, I like the Shirley Temple, Watermelon, Cotton Candy, and many of her limited edition Christmas Flavors. I also love her lip tints!
    Have a wonderful weekend!
