Balms of the Week 7.22.12

My lovely balms of the week this week are:

Burt's Bee's Rejuvenating Balm with Acai Berry

(review can be found here)

(review can be found here)

These two have been my go-to balms all week! They're both phenomenal! Usually I use between 3 and 4 lip balms but these two have been more than enough for me.

What balms have you been using a ton this week? Have you picked up any new ones?
Have a great week!

  2. I have been using Badger Company's Cocoa Butter Lip Balm in Vanilla Bean...the tubes are huge (7g) and the texture/flavour/feel of the balm is lovely. It's quite a thick, rich balm which is great for the Australian winter we're currently in the middle of! Definitely one of my favourites and highly recommended! I have a brand new tube of Long Winter's Raspberry Lime in my makeup bag and just finished off the Chocolate Orange...yum!! Keep up the awesome work with the blog!

    1. Hi Emma!

I love those huge balms, they're just so crazy to look at, aren't they? Especially compared to average sized balms! I'm glad you've found a great balm to get you through the winter! The Raspberry Lime is absolutely phenomenal, I love it so much! It's my second favorite, next to Chocolate Orange, from Long Winter Farm.

Thank you for such kind words!

  3. This week I have been using Epic Soaps new summer flavors: Honeydew Peach (she is trying out a new formulation with this one since the Pistachio Butter she uses is being discontinued) I like the new formula it's the same as the one she has been using and can't tell the difference. Also, Pineapple Sage and Cantaloupe. Love them all and ended up buying more for friends and family!

I also am using new balms from Country Blossom off Etsy. They are having a Christmas IN July Sale. Just use CIJ15 for 15% off your purchase. This is my first purchase from this shop and I got the Caramel, Blue Cotton Candy and Malted Milk! I like this balm and the flavors I chose. It was a deal for a little over $8 including shipping for the 3 pack.

    1. I just received my order from Epically Epic which has the Honeydew Peach and the Pineapple Sage, they smell AWESOME. You can never go wrong with Epically Epic =).

I looked into that company, there are a couple that are definitely catching my eye. Were you able to just pick any flavors from the shop for the three pack? I was confused because the three pack has only a certain amount of flavors to choose from and a lot of what I want to try isn't on that list.

Thanks for always keeping me up to date on specials, especially for shops I've never shopped at! Your recommendations are always welcomed!
