Moody Sisters

About two weeks ago, I stumbled upon a post on some products by Moody Sisters on another blog and was instantly intrigued. I loved the cute packaging and quickly did some cyber-stalking...I mean...searching. By this I mean, checking their Facebook page, store page, Etsy page, and Twitter for more information. I saw that they gave products for review and thought I would give it a shot and ask if they'd be interested in being featured in a review. I was so happy they said yes! So yes, these balms were given to me complimentary but all opinions are my own.

Company: Moody Sisters

Flavors: Vanilla Orange and Mischievous Mint. The Vanilla Orange is awesome! It's not as crazy citrus-y as other orange balms which is actually kind of nice. It's still citrusy and fruity but blended and toned down a bit with creamy vanilla. It's superb! If you don't like balms that are super strong in scent, this is definitely a balm to check out. The Mischievous Mint is a strong mint scent which I LOVE since I'm a sucker for mint. To me, it smells like peppermint mixed with a bit of spearmint, reminds me a lot of double mint gum. I really enjoy this balm. Their other flavors are Kiss My Almond and Clean Citrus.

Wear: These go on smooth and pretty thick! One swipe is more than enough on the top and bottom. I was taken away by how thick it went on, but not in a bad way! The balm was very creamy going on. It goes on thicker than your average balm but not in an overwhelming way, if that makes sense. It's a nice change of pace. My lips definitely feel nourished and smooth after wearing this. I could also see the Mischievous Mint as being a bit of a breath freshener after it's applied because of it's strong mint scent. The way these balms go on remind of Long Winter Farm balms but just a tad thicker.

Packaging: These balms come in white oval tubes that weigh the same as your average tube of lip balm. The tubes have cute labels on them with a black cat, a stretch of color that matches the flavor of the balm, and a cute font that looks hand written that says Lip Balm and then the flavor. The balms are filled up past the top of the tube, if you're familiar with how Long Winter Farm balms are usually filled (over the brim) you'll know what I'm talking about.

Price: $3.50 a tube which is definitely not a bad deal! These balms are pretty fabulous!

Overall:
Pros: Flavor, Wear, Packaging, Price
Cons: Wish there were more flavors!

Rating: 4 out of 5 twists. These balms were pretty awesome! If you like creamier balms and oval tubes, this is definitely a brand you should try!

Ingredients: Beeswax, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil, Tocopherol (Viamin E), Essential Oils.
